JANUARY 24, 2024
ALBANY, NY: In a bid to foster self-care, peer support, and mental wellness, the Mental Health Empowerment Project (MHEP) is thrilled to announce the launch of a Weekly Manicure Group every Friday from 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm at our location, 204 Second Street, Albany, NY 12210. This initiative is open to individuals ages 18 and above.
Embracing the transformative power of self-help, peer support and network building, MHEP is excited to create a space where individuals can come together, connect and indulge in a little self-care.
PEER SUPPORT AND SELF-HELP.
The Weekly Manicure Group at MHEP is more than just a beauty session; it’s an opportunity to engage in peer support and self-help. Participants will have the chance to connect with others who understand the journey of mental health and wellness. The power of shared experiences creates a supportive environment where individuals can find comfort, understanding, and inspiration.
Building a network of like-minded individuals is crucial for mental well-being. The manicure group provides a casual and friendly setting for attendees to establish connections, exchange stories, and create a network of support. Together, we can foster a sense of community that extends beyond the manicure session.
HOW TO GET INVOLVED.
For those interested in joining the Weekly Manicure Group or seeking additional information, please contact Valerie Temple, our dedicated point of contact.
Valerie will be happy to provide details, answer any questions, and assist with registration.
MHEP is committed to nurturing the holistic well-being of individuals, and the Weekly Manicure Group is a testament to that commitment. Join us every Friday for a rejuvenating session that goes beyond nails – it’s about self-care, peer support, and building a network of understanding and encouragement. See you at 204 Second Street as we embark on this journey of well-being together.
